Situated on State Highway 8 at the northern entrance to Alexandra, is the Stadium Tavern where you can enjoy a drink or a cup of coffee looking out onto the park like setting.

Stadium Tavern provides a wide range of facilities and entertainment which include:

The Cellar Door has wine tasting. We have wines including Hintons, Judge Rock, William Hill, Thyme Hill, Three Miners from the Alexandra Clyde area and many more from the wider Central Otago area. Our house wine is St Clair from Marlborough which has won many gold medals.

The Cellar Door operates as a cafe during the lunch time hours. There is a full lunch time meal available with some yummy desserts with a full range of coffee available.

The evening dining caters for those that want to treat themselves to some of Central Otago's finest dining and be waited on in a comfortable facility with soft lighting and ambudience.

The facility caters comfortably for approx up to 200. This can either be for weddings, conferences, functions. We have 5 separate rooms available. Weddings can be conducted in one of our 5 rooms which has been purposely built.

The facility is fully air conditioned, together with a garden courtyard area which proves very popular in the Central Otago Cclimate. There is also public gardens with mature trees with playground for those that want to stretch their legs.

There is excellent parking facilities.
The Cellar Door is also the main entrance to Molyneux Park which is used for provincial rugby and cricket.
Offen we have found that these loyal supporters are thirsty and hungry and we aim to cater for all of their needs.
