Our new cafe "The Ida Valley Kitchen" opened for business on Saturday 18th Dec 2010,
We are open 7 days a week from 9am - 4pm serving delicious healthy food and great coffee, all made on the premises, and we are licensed.
Our specialities will be salads, soups, platters and home baking. We are using local suppliers wherever possible.

We have a sunny sheltered outdoor area, and cosy couches by the fire for the cooler months. We pride ourselves on our fast friendly service, and can cater for large groups.

We are located along the road from Gilchrists Store, opposite the haybarn.

Situated half way along the Rail Trail we are your ideal stopover and children are welcome.
