2 Wheel Backpackers 
A large, private house situated in the peaceful region of Kokonga, 42 kms from Middlemarch. It contains an open plan kitchen and dining area, with a separate TV lounge, and has an outdoor BBQ and furniture. Downstairs contains a private room with queen bed, and upstairs is a bunk room containing four beds. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided. An optional continental breakfast is available, plus a $10 each way, per person shuttle service to the Lion hotel in Ranfurly for meals. (15 minutes away) The Taieri River is 3 minutes walk from the house.

Kokonga Lodge

Kokonga Lodge is situated on the rail trail, a good biking distance from Middlemarch (41kms) and Wedderburn (38kms) and can be easily accessed directly off the trail or from State Highway 87.
