A large, private house situated in the peaceful region of Kokonga, 42 kms from Middlemarch. It contains an open plan kitchen and dining area, with a separate TV lounge, and has an outdoor BBQ and furniture. Downstairs contains a private room with queen bed, and upstairs is a bunk room containing four beds. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided. An optional continental breakfast is available, plus a $10 each way, per person shuttle service to the Lion hotel in Ranfurly for meals. (15 minutes away) The Taieri River is 3 minutes walk from the house.

Kokonga Lodge

Kokonga Lodge is situated on the rail trail, a good biking distance from Middlemarch (41kms) and Wedderburn (38kms) and can be easily accessed directly off the trail or from State Highway 87. The lodge provides stylish accommodation, relaxing guest areas and is fully catered. The lodge is a perfect stopover for those biking the full trail or can be used as a stay-put destination for those wanting to do sections of the trail or take part in other activities such as fishing, curling, fossicking for gold and 4WD adventures.

Wine, beer, spirits are available for purchase.
