Stay in a Cob Cottage built in the late 1800's. In a hot Central summer plunge into our unique 'oasis', an idyllic pond where you can swim, dive, row or even sail - or simply enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

The "Workshops"

What was once the Vincent County Truck Workshops has been lovingly converted into character accommodation, right in the heart of Clyde.
The Workshops offers four individually styled rooms, all furnished for comfort and each reflecting the unique history of the building. With two bathrooms, a fully equipped guest kitchen, lounge and games room. The Workshops offers a homestay option with a difference. The layout provides guests with privacy, whilst the shared outdoor entertaining area, with BBQ, is the perfect opportunity to meet your hosts, Steve and Samantha and hear a few local tales.

All rooms are centrally heated.

Cottage Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf Cottage is located just 4km from Clyde in Earnscleugh . We are surrounded by orchards and vineyards and are just 4km to the start of the Otago Rail Trail and just 2km from the Clyde to Alexandra River Track.

The cottage is located on an acre lifestyle block which is shared with our family home. It is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored to it’s former glory. The house has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom and a fully fenced private courtyard.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.

Olivers Lodge and Stables

The stunning stone buildings at historic Olivers began as a general store supplying prospectors during the gold mining boom in the 1860s. Built out of local schist stone, the buildings and grounds located in the centre of the historic precinct of Clyde are being gracefully refurbished and landscaped to provide guests with boutique hotel accommodation in Central Otago.

Choose between schist walls, stone floors and stable doors in the Stables accommodation, or grand scale, fine fabrics and elegant interiors in the Lodge rooms.

We offer eleven double rooms (mix of SuperKing, King and Queen beds) all with newly built ensuites and many with recently restored claw-foot baths.
