Enjoy the ambience of a historical homestead with spectacular views of the Maniototo plains & surrounding mountain ranges.

Peters Farm is a late 19th Century mud brick farm homestead situated above the Waipiata township and the Taieri River.  The Homestead offers you the chance to get away from the Rail Trail and to enjoy another aspect of the magnificent Maniototo as captured in the art of Grahame Sydney.

The homestead offers modern conveniences while retaining the character of an early pioneering farm.

Facilities:

Heaters are provided for each room.
BBQ - cook your own or BBQ cooked for you by arrangement.
Laundry - washing machine and dryer
Closely tied with Tregonnings Cottage , which is just 500 meters away (see next listing) 

Free kayaks, gold pans and fishing rods are available for our guests who want to explore this amazing and historical area

Located 4km's from Waipiata and just 500 meters from Peters Farm Lodge.
Originally built in 1880 of Mud Brick and Schist Stone.


Facilities:
3 twin bedrooms each with 2 new single beds all with electric blankets. Heaters in all rooms.

New settee's and a Metro Log Fire for your comfort

Kitchen
Large well-appointed kitchen for those who prefer to do their own cooking.

BBQ and picnic area outside or under the sheltered veranda.

This cottage is in the heart of a substantial sheep & beef farm and can be block booked for groups.

MANIOTOTO CURLING INTERNATIONAL - NASEBY NEW ZEALAND

Welcome to Australasia's first International Curling Rink. From 'Have a Go' to Tournaments, Curling at the Rink provides for all ages and stages in life - from children to the elderly and those with handicaps. While preserving Central Otago's heritage and culture, the Rink also hosts local, national and international tournaments. With viewing from the comfortable upstairs lounge, which has facilities for conferences, the Rink is an ideal venue for that corporate getaway, the social club outing or family functions.
