Rose Cottage Bed and Breakfast is situated on a large 3/4 of an acre private section containing many established trees and gardens.
The cottage and section command panoramic views of the nearby Rock and Pillar Range and surrounding farmland.
We cater for a maximum of 4 to 6 guests at a time so that you are able to enjoy the full use of our studio unit or cottage bedrooms.
Rose Cottage is situated 800 metres from the start/end of the Otago Central Rail Trail at 47 Browns Road, Middlemarch.
A continental breakfast is provided. Other meals can be arranged as required.

The Rocks Station & Accommodation
Set in a 7000 ac Merino Station The Rocks Station & Accommodation offers two beautiful restored and appointed cottages. Longford Retreat with polished wooden floors and tasteful furnishings has three delightfully decorated queen rooms, all with comfy new slat beds and gorgeous cotton linen. French doors in each room open to the veranda each with its own stunning views of Rock and Pillar Range and surrounding countryside.
Braeside Cottage is a quintessential schist stone cottage built in the late 1800’s, beautifully restored, this idyllic cottage offers unbelievable tranquillity and the peace and quiet that can only come from sleeping in a stone walled cottage. With two large and beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with a comfy Super King Bed that can split to 2 single beds and the other with 2 King Singles with a trundle provides beds for up to 5 people
