Based in Ranfurly, half way along the Rail Trail, all our bikes are fully serviced before each hire, and we can have bikes ready for you at any destination on the Trail. Living locally we are very familiar with all aspects of the Rail Trail and the local Maniototo area.

Shebikeshebikes are the small and friendly bicycle hire and bicycle tour operator on the Rail Trail. If you need a bike for the whole trail, a section or two, or something off the trail then we’ll have a solution for you and can help organise an itinerary or day trip as well.

We’ve got a mix of trail bikes to suit your needs from sport mountain bikes to comfort bikes with suspension seat posts. All rail trail bikes come with helmets, panniers, light and repair kit and have front suspension.
Tandems, tag-alongs and children’s trailers are available.
New for the 2010/11 season are fully suspended mountain bikes if you’re looking for something a little more high end or want to explore some of Central Otago’s epic rides.
