Let us take the hassle out of organizing your trip. Otago Rail Trail Booking Services can help you with all your accommodation, bike hire, luggage transfers, transport and Taieri Gorge Train bookings.

Accommodation along the trail caters for everyone from Campers, Backpackers, Hotel, Motel, B&B's Lodges and Apartments.

We supply fully serviced Mountain Bikes with gel seats for hire at competitive rates.

Most bikers on the trail take 3-5 days, however different groups require different needs and we can arrange anything from 1/2 day to 7 days on the trail and in the area. Our Information and Booking Service operates from Ranfurly in the middle of the trail.

We can start you at either the Middlemarch or the Clyde/Alexandra end of the trail or at any town along the way.

Because we are locals we are familiar with the four seasons of Central Otago and can help with what you should bring with you on the trail for that time of year.

Thank you so much for all your assistance in preparation for and during our recent family rail trail trip(16-19 April). All your arrangements went really well and I am especially greateful for your kindness when we called into your office on Sunday 17 April (during torrential rain) in serch of extra waterproofing! Meant to get a note off to you much sooner than now. Just wanted to say a big thanks for all of the work you did on the bookings for our trip at the start of Februaly on the Rail Trail. The whole trip went extremely well, the accommodation was all excellent, all bag pick-up and drop-offs were right, and the bikes were of a high standard and very comfy.

We compleated our trip a week ago, I thought I"d drop you line to thank you for your fantastic planning, and organising such a wonderful holiday for us all. Everything fell into place, there wasn't a hitch.

I was a visitor to Maniototo 21 and 22 June and you helped me out with baike hire and transport on those two days.
The wheather was very kind to me and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was enjoying the trip through the Poolburn so much on the second day that I suddenly realised time was getting short and the final hours run into Ranfurly that evening in chilly fog and fanding light made the trip interesting to say least.
I do appriciate yours and the teams efforts, and realise your help with transport from Hyde on the first day and the drop off at Lauder on the second dy was a very big favour to me, as I had no idea how I could have made things work with your assistance.
The next dilemma facing me is how I can finish off the parts of the rail I have missed.

The Otago Rail Trail information & booking has been set up because we acknowledge some people are so busy in their lives they don't have time to organize their trip. However the www.otagorailtrail.co.nz has a very good selection of accommodation and all the services you require for your railtrail holiday.
