Description

Feel the difference when you arrive at Kokonga Lodge. Situated in a peaceful rural setting across the road from the Taieri River and with direct access to the world famous, Otago Central Rail Trail.

This slice of paradise is set amidst 5 hectares of established gardens and offers a high value and true New Zealand experience. As well as the Lodge, the property is also home to the original Kokonga School, built in 1897. Its building remains on its original site. The Lodge is built on the site of the old school teachers residence.

Kokonga Lodge provides a quality accommodation option for independent or travel groups.

With stunning gardens and panoramic mountain views Kokonga Lodge offers a tranquil rural setting with comfortable quality furnishings throughout. Expansive outdoor areas and decks where guests can relax and recharge.

Kokonga Lodge offers a home cooked meal and a continental breakfast. Breakfast is included in the tariff. The evening meal is at a cost of $65.00 per head for a two course set menu (dinner and dessert). (Pre booking is required and any dietary requirements to be notified on booking.)
