Big Sky Bike Adventures

Description

Our free planning service ensures your Big Sky bike adventure is as individual as you are!

We’re here to make your Otago Central Rail Trail experience amazing from start to finish. Talk to us about how many days you have to explore the trail, how far you want to bike every day and whether your budget is rice-crackers, caviar or somewhere in-between, and we’ll custom design the perfect rail trail itinerary for you – absolutely free of charge!

With accommodation options ranging from cosy cottages and charming country pubs through to luxury lodges, we can put together a personalised, fully itemised itinerary so you can make the most of your time on and off the trail. And whether your wish-list includes astro-tours, 27 holes at three country golf courses, curling, ice-skating by starlight or anything else you can think of, we have the contacts and the local knowledge to make it happen for you.

From getting you on and off the trail all the way through to dinner bookings, we'll handle all the details so all you have to do is enjoy the stunning landscapes and big skies of Central Otago... and pedal a bit of course! Our fleet of world renowned Avanti and Giant bikes are reliable and comfortable (well, as comfortable as anything can be when you sit on it for 150 kilometres... that’s why we throw in gel seats!).

The only operators based in the historic gold-mining village of Naseby (the home of curling, also known for legendary hospitality and spontaneous outbreaks of bagpipe playing), Big Sky Bike Adventures is proudly local, and owned and operated by two generations of the Crawford and Morice families. We look forward to meeting you and your family, and introducing you to our very special part of the world.

Contact us anytime about our two to five day personalised itineraries, one day highlights packages or half-day and full-day casual bike hire.
