Becks

Becks is a small town 10km’s from Lauder or 15km’s from St Bathans. The town has the White Horse Hotel offering food and accommodation

This small township is a 25 minute drive to Alexandra which has many shops and activities. Becks is a much smaller township, with remains of a village from a historic period. Becks has a war memorial, a community hall, remnants of tennis courts, a black smiths building, and abandoned historic homes. The focus of Becks is restoring the former White Horse Hotel, however there is also the new White Horse Hotel which provides views of Blackstone Hill and the Hawkdun Range.

Becks is also a short journey away from St Bathans, an area with beautiful lakes and historic buildings.
