Description

Located 4km's from Waipiata and just 500 meters from Peter's Farm Lodge

Tregonninng cottage was built in 1880 of mud brick and schist. This quaint cottage still stands strong today with remaining features like the original H.E SHACKLOCK ORION No.1 coal range and the 5 foot 8 inches doors which lead to the three bed rooms. After recent interior renovations it now offers very comfortable accommodation that includes a proper country-size kitchen and bathroom. When you have finished a day on the Rail Trail the lounge is just the place to relax, and should temperatures drop there's a new Metro log fire to keep guests cozy over the four seasons.

This cottage is in the heart of substantial sheep & beef farm and can be block booked for groups.
